Refund Policy

1. Our Commitment
At Blusterr Media Company, we are committed to delivering exceptional value and quality in all our IT consultancy, software development, and digital marketing services. We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is necessary, and this policy outlines our fair and transparent approach.
2. General Refund Guidelines
Key Principles
- Refunds are calculated based on work not yet completed
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing
- Refunds are processed within 14 business days of approval
- Refunds are issued via the original payment method when possible
3. Software Development Projects
3.1 Before Project Commencement
Full Refund
If you cancel before any work has begun (within 48 hours of deposit and before kickoff meeting), you are entitled to a full refund of your deposit.
3.2 Discovery & Planning Phase
Partial Refund
Cancellation during discovery, requirements gathering, or planning phase. 25% is retained for work completed.
3.3 Development Phase
Work-Based Refund
Refund calculated as: Total Paid - (Work Completed × Agreed Rate). You will receive all completed work and source code upon settlement.
3.4 After Delivery
No Refund
Once final deliverables have been accepted and deployed, no refunds are available. Our 30-day bug fix warranty applies instead.
4. IT Consultancy Services
4.1 Retainer Agreements
- Unused hours in the current month may be refunded at 50% value
- Cancellation requires 30 days written notice
- Prepaid retainer fees for future months are fully refundable
4.2 One-Time Consultations
- 24+ hours before: Full refund
- Less than 24 hours: 50% refund
- No-show: No refund
4.3 Assessment & Audit Projects
Infrastructure assessments, security audits, and similar projects follow the software development refund schedule based on project phase.
5. Digital Marketing Services
5.1 Monthly Retainer Services
- Services are billed monthly in advance
- Cancellation requires 30 days notice before the next billing cycle
- No refunds for the current active month
- Prepaid months are refundable minus any ad spend already committed
5.2 Campaign-Based Projects
- Before campaign launch: Full refund minus planning costs (typically 20%)
- After campaign launch: No refund (ad spend is non-recoverable)
5.3 Ad Spend
Important: Third-party advertising costs (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) are passed through to advertising platforms and are non-refundable once spent.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Third-party software licenses purchased on your behalf
- Domain registrations and hosting fees
- Third-party advertising spend
- Rush or expedited service fees
- Custom research or data acquisition costs
- Travel and accommodation expenses
7. Requesting a Refund
Step 1: Submit Request
Email your refund request to hello@blusterrmediacompany.com with:
- Your project/invoice number
- Reason for refund request
- Preferred refund method
Step 2: Review Process
We will review your request within 5 business days and respond with:
- Confirmation of refund amount
- Breakdown of work completed vs. refundable amount
- Timeline for refund processing
Step 3: Resolution
Upon agreement, refunds are processed within 14 business days via bank transfer or original payment method.

9. Exceptions
We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis. Exceptions may be considered for:
- Medical emergencies or family crises
- Natural disasters affecting your business
- Significant business changes beyond your control
All exceptions require documentation and management approval.
